However, when Tychus fought the Tal'darim in Wings of Liberty, they used the regular multiplayer models for the protoss (which are mostly blue and gold) rather than the skins closer themed to Alarak, and this is likely lampshading that Tychus did not live to see the later games were they had their models changed.

However, stimpacks are horribly dangerous and addictive, and Tychus avoided addictive drugs other than alcohol and tobacco, as he didn't want to be beholden to anyone or anything.
