The future[]

It seems we have two challenges with the ambition of this page. Firstly, the patch notes for each patch are very extensive. Certainly the challenge of linking the articles is extensive, and not particularly fun. Since the task is essentially just to reprint the patch notes on the wiki, this presents a very poor effort/reward ratio. That is to say, it's not fun, and there are far better things to be doing on the wiki.

Secondly, patches don't seem to come with any patch numbers, and I can't find those on HeroesNexus either. This probably means that unless we manually record patch numbers from the launcher for each and every patch, we'll be unable to provide them for the wiki. For past patches this is probably a lost cause.

The combination of these two problems has led me to a pragmatic solution, at least for the time being: rather than creating individual patch pages, I've simply created links to the corresponding blog on the official site. This provides almost all the value of creating individual patch pages, but with an invisible-to-the-naked-eye fraction of the work involved.

If other editors want to step up and transfer the very lengthy patch notes over to the wiki, this can be done, and we could create pages based on the patch dates. Until then this solution should allow us to immediately create a comprehensive and functional patch listing with minimal trouble. -- Taohinton (talk) 02:54, 4 November 2015 (UTC)

Mistakes on the Blizzard's part[]

What should be done when Blizzard miss some of the changes in their patch notes? The most recent example is Muradin's Battle Momentum.--Adunaii (talk) 13:02, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

I adjusted the contrast of your error popup... http://i.imgur.com/htBWDFc.png
Essentially, since you are an unregistered/new user, you cannot add hyperlinks yet.
I saw your edit and I fixed the link by adding the missing [http://.
