A Heroic Pet is a summon that is summoned and is considered as a Heroic Target. Altough they are seperate from their Hero, their damage is still credited to their owner. Heroic Pets can still soak even if their Hero is not around: Heroic Pets that deals last hit damage to a minion will grant XP. They also grant stacks for some heroic only quests (like Azmodans Sieging Wrath) and are hit by heroic only spells, like Chromies Sand Blast.
