Chris Sigaty was the Executive Producer at Blizzard Entertainment's responsible for overseeing development on both Heroes of the Storm, the company's team brawler featuring characters from more than 20 years of Blizzard history, and the award-winning StarCraft II series of real-time strategy games.
Background
As executive producer, Chris is responsible for coordinating the efforts of these multidisciplinary game development teams as they strive to create stellar gaming experiences. This involves overseeing all aspects of the games’ business and development efforts as well as game portfolio management and company level strategy.
Chris has been with Blizzard over 20 years and has a long history with strategy games. He began his career at Blizzard in 1996 as a quality assurance tester on Warcraft II: Beyond The Dark Portal, moving to the role of lead tester on the original StarCraft, moving into localization production in 1999, and taking on lead producer responsibilities on Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its expansion, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Chris acted as the Production Director overseeing the development of the StarCraft II series and Heroes of the Storm, moving into the role of executive producer in early 2015. [1]
