IGN Review from 2015
"6.5/10" is a meme that references the rating IGN gave HotS in 2015. The reasons why the reviewer disliked HotS are debatable and are often called "unfair" and "biased".[1] On March 19, 2018, IGN published a new Heroes of the Storm review to reflect the current state of the game. This time IGN gave HotS a 8.0.[2]
Blizzard even made a reference to that joke in their Arena trailer and two banners.
Blizzard also made reference to this score by releasing "6.5" sprays and emblems in celebration of their 6.5 year anniversary.
